Lamy's speeches
“I thank Luxembourg for this contribution that will be important for
enhancing Least-Developed Countries’ participation in the Doha Round of
negotiations through technical assistance. This is an essential tool to
train developing countries’ representatives to participate more
efficiently in the Multilateral Trading System”, said °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø×ÊÁÏ
Director-General, Mr. Pascal Lamy.
This last contribution brings the total amount donated by Luxembourg to
the DDAGTF since its creation to more than EUR 500,000. The Doha
Development Agenda Global Trust Fund was created following the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø×ÊÁÏ
Ministerial Conference in Doha, in November 2001, which launched a new
round of negotiations.
