Symposium on the TRIPS Agreement for TRIPS Council Members and Observers

On 26 February 2015, delegates and observers to the Council on Trade Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) heard from some of the actual negotiators in the 1986–94 Uruguay Round about how the round brought intellectual property into the multilateral trading system, and from other experts about what has happened since and what could be its future.
