The winners and runners-up in the video contest are:

• 1st — Karina Hehs, a 24 year-old studying agricultural engineering at the University of São Paulo, Brazil
  

• 2nd — Armando Castaño Salazar, a 19 year-old law student at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico
  

• 3rd — Emanuela Campanella and Rana Sowdaey, two 23 year-old recent graduates from Canada. Emanuela Campanella studied Philosophy and Communications at the University of Ottawa and Rana Sowdaey graduated from Concordia University in Linguistics.
  

 

Essay contest

The winners and runners-up in the essay contest are:

• 1st — Ankita Mishra from India, a 23 year-old MBA student at  Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune
